A malty, chocolaty and fruity whisky, that has mainly been used for blending in the past. Nice to see it bottled as a single malt in shiny new packaging. Dufftown have been producing single malt whisky since 1896, with much of it being used for the Bells blend.

Nose – Nutty and fruity aromas. Adding water brings out more sweet, syrupy notes. Palate – Crunchy nut notes, rich notes, blackcurrant, brown sugar and espresso coffee.
