For 300 years if you were in the British Navy, you were entitled to a rum ration. Black Tot Rum refers to the end of this daily rum in the 1970's. A black day, but this is a cracking rum. A complex blend of different rums from Guyana, Barbados and Jamaica. Barbados: 35% of the blend. 5-year-old pot & column distilled rum. Contributes tropical fruits, vanilla, and coconut to the blend. Guyana: 40% of the blend. 3-5-year-old pot & column. Brings rich, full flavoured notes. Guyana: 20% of the blend. Unaged column & pot distilled. Adds a freshness to the blend. Jamaica: 5% of the blend. 3-year-old pot distilled. Adds funky, ripe fruit notes to the blend.
